Headliner - Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley
This unique collaborative effort between two uniquely gifted musicians is bound to be a revelation to traditional music fans on several counts. Rob Ickes is a longtime, well-established instrumental giant, and Trey Hensley is newly arrived in Music City, bursting with talent both as a vocalist and guitarist.
Opener – Acoustic Manner
Acoustic Manner bills themselves as “sophisticated string music with ramble aplenty,” comparing their sound to groups and artists ranging from New Grass Revival, Bela Fleck, Sam Bush, and the David Grisman Quintet to Leftover Salmon, Tony Rice, Mike Marshall, and Barefoot Manner, among others. Acoustic Manner is: Shawn Chase (mandolin); Walter Hensey (bass guitar); David Kleiss (guitar); Hank Smith (banjo); and Lindsey Tims (fiddle). The band is a spinoff acoustic group of the popular band Barefoot Manner.
